BRRRRR~so cold!!

This hit us so fast, we were not prepared at all, and we lost all Power for three days and 4 nights. The worst actually was the cleanup, because Trees were down everywhere, and took part of our Fence. I cooked on the Barbecue, and it was not bad at all, except my pans were blackened and that was hard to clean afterwards. I made the Best Chili on the little burner on the Barbecue. My Son's girlfriend made Bacon and eggs on his woodstove, don't know how she did that! But Craig said it was really good. We were lucky because we have two sources of Heat, and so we used our wood Stove. So inside we were warm and toasty. Bella loved the snow, I could not find her at times because she is so white, if she was facing me I could see her little Black eyes and nose. I thought all our Trees looked so pretty with the snow on them, but I am not a lover of snow.

Spring and Pink!!

Another Beautiful Day here in Our little Valley~the sunshine hits us so nice here and we have had such Gorgeous sunshine for the last few days! I'm sure you.ve heard the term Dizzy Blonde~well that's me~~I got a case of dizzyness~ and so I've been moving rather slow at times and not moving at all sometimes~~Hubby finally took me to the Dr. and he said I had fluid behind the ear drum or something like that~ So I have medicine and I'm getting better~not much fun when the room moves and you think you are standing still~~oh well~at least I got to sit in the sunshine~~

We've been having baby Lambs being born, and we were happy they could be born in the sunshine~~The little Baby I'm showing here was stuck trying to be born, and Hubby had to pull her ~and she was not breathing and limp, so he knew she was dead, but never one to give up he patted her and rubbed her to no avail~~and then he decided to give her mouth to mouth and the works~~and here she is, sweet as can be~we had to get Milk from her Mom and we put it in a Baby Bottle and feed her that way, because she was so weak~ she came out of it and now she is running and playing with the rest of them.

I've been doing a little sewing~this is my Pink Cuff~first Pink one I have sewn. my fingers are sore as I embellished it by hand sewing~

OH! I think she is so adorable~ she comes to the fence and sucks on my finger~of course I helped save her~maybe she knows that!

Sweet little Lamb Rusty~it's a girl~my Husband named her~

Hubby says these are Spring Beauty and the yellow are Johnny Jump up's~tells me spring is on the way~he always picks me a little Bouquet while he's out and about working on our little farm.

I managed to drag myself out of Bed to check on Pink Saturday

I've been sick with a icky cold or something! ugh, it really hit me, so anyway I always check on Sissie's Shabby Cottage Blog, she has the neatest stuff to look at, and I saw the picture of Elizabeth Taylor, and I thought , what a Beautiful Mirror, and I then wondered where in the World have I seen that before, It just bugged me, so I just thought I was foggy from being under the weather and I went back and laid down, after awhile I realized that I had one very much like it, or was I dreaming. So I managed to drag myself to the spare Bedroom, and guess what!! There it was, on the dresser. So I had to drag myself back to my sewing room and get the Camera and I took a picture, so here it is folks!! I love it and so thought I would share it with you!
All this dragging around has worn me out, so I'm saying goodnight and pleasant dreams to eveyone and OH! yes!! Happy Pink Saturday!

Pink Saturday again!

Happy Happy Day to all!!!

I'm such a terrible Blogger, I love looking at everyones Blogs, but just can't seem to find the time to sit down and share my life and creations~ I keep telling myself I have things to share and the week goes so fast, that it's gone before I know it.

This morning I decided I would sit down and share my favorites and then just as soon as I thought about it, I decided to mop the floors, straighten the Porch up a bit, sit outside in the sunshine and eat lunch with Hubby, Play with Bella, start on a Pillow I had an Idea for~~Talk to my daughter-in-law for awhile~`it just went on and on~`sooooo, here I am and now it's time to start dinner, but before I go I want to share a couple of creations I just finished, that I have on my Website~~The Ruffled Rose. After dinner I will sit down and visit all you sweet Blogerettes.

Sowing you some of my Decorations for this year, not really finished, but I embellish everything I can get my hands on, so here's a start. I went for Birds and Houses and Roses on my tree this tree. Found the Tree in the Barn, and taped it together, it was in pieces. Chanderlier and the Mannequin got spruced up in Pink~~Pretty Pink lights on the Mantel~~And my little Pink sewing machine that does my work for me!

Getting Excited!!

Family will all be here Christmas Eve for the Big Dinner, Kids, and Spouses, kids from College and whom ever they may bring. I love it!

I have so much to do, and so little time, but I'll do it.

I've been sewing like crazy lately, some for my Website http://www.theruffledrose.com/ and some for the kids. So I'm, on to decorating~~I aways have a White tree embellished in Pink!!, but this year I decided to do something different.

I have been gone from Blogging for quite sometime as I one day could just not access my Blog. I tried for the longest time to get into it and to no avail, then I just gave up and finally decided to try and get it back. Very frustrating to say the least I had changed my e-mail address and something went wrong when I tried to change it and it just all went south. And I had to jump thru major hoops to get it back.

But I have spent the last few months getting used to the Idea that my babies (my grand babies) are now grown and off to College, and they are playing sports, so Hubby and I travel every chance we get to go see them play, Their games are so far away, so some we cannot get too. But if it's 4 or 5 hours away we go. I'm so used to having them around me all the time for the last 18 years, it is quite a shock to my system to have them on their own. But thank goodness for texting, I can text them every day, and they answer right back. I think they miss me almost as much as I miss them. Three of them Two girls, One Boy, Courtney and Kyle go to the same College, and Ashley Elizabeth about 5 hours away. All born in the same year. I call them my Adorables

I feel winter coming, cold nights and sunny days with a nip of cold. My flowers are mostly all gone, except for this one rose, it just keeps on going, I don't know the name of it, but it is a really pretty rose. Here is a picture of it! Well I'm off to visit with some of you, before I go to bed.

It's Pink Saturday Again!

I've been in the pink mood again, I don't think I'm ever out of it. I hope everyone has a great week and Summer, we will be having really warm weather for the next week and I am so Happy about that, my Son's girlfriend is taking me to lunch on the Coast on Thursday and they are predicting wonderful weather, so I am a Happy Girl.

I went junkin a few days ago and found this cute pink Candle Chandelier~I plan on putting candle cups in the white cups with candles~I think will look so pretty on the Dining Room table.
